I don't think you can recover the money. Try contacting PayPal, maybe that'll work, but I wouldn't hope a lot.
You can lodge a complaint with paypal and request for the reversal of the deal.
Open a case on PayPal. It happened to me once too,but paypal refunded me the money!!
Do it as soon as possible, the more delay you do, the less chances u have of getting ur money back
tell paypal he deleted his account on FB as well, that will go in your favour!

A few years back I have the same issue too, I've created a dispute & followed up until their account been suspended.
Finally he agreed to refund me. I can't remember how he refunded me.
i think you should contact paypal , try to ask help from them. because the system already block you
