what has also helped me is if i create a folder on desktop with just one letter or number and download there it helps, bc folders deep makes the links long so it gets confused: i.e. you download to folder/desktop/file/file2+zip full path = really long link. if you create a desktop file named 1 it is then: 1/xyz.zip. see much shorter makes it easier for the computer to designate the destination. Hopefully that helps someone. It took me forever to find a solution for many downloads going bad and having to download numerous times.
